THE 7 YEAR VISIT TO THE ACADEMY

Someone looked over the Jordan River, and asked a question, “What did I see?” Or in the poem Ten Little Monkeys, one monkey asks others, “What do you see?” I ask you the same question. After your 7-, 5- or 2-year visit to the Academy, what did you see? Or what will you have seen?

In the first question, (s)he saw a band of angels and a chariot swinging low. But was that all there was? Or in the monkey question was there only a man carrying something, and nothing else?

It is easy to limit your vision, and therefore your access, to a chosen section of what the Academy offers. Sports, Latin, Greek, Sciences, Chapel, English, the Dining Hall, Maths, the Ornamental Lake View, …. or Chinese Mandarin. When you visited, what did you see, or what will you have seen? Why not choose to see all of it or at least, as much as possible? All these are in the same package for your benefit. Make the most of it.
